SAFWCO CPI sector has always propped up the execution of small physical infrastructure projects. As part of its strategy for sustainability, SAFWCO organize societies to ensure their involvement to the costs of the CPIs. SAFWCO CPI is causative to the cost of CPI projects to exhibit the capability of Community Organizations in put into practice CPI projects during community participation. SAFWCO CPI assists communities to commence CPI schemes by developing association with government, donors and other organizations for development of area.

SAFWCO CPI AIM
Aim of SAFWCO CPI is to help out communities to construct and manage Community Infrastructure projects which are actually their basic prioritized needs such as
Drinking Water Supply Schemes (Hand Pumps, Water Tanks, Reservoir)
Communication (Link roads, Bridges, Culverts)
Sanitation (Latrines, Sewer & drainage Systems, Street Pavement)
Irrigation (lining of water Channels, Tube Wells)
Technological Innovative Programs (TIP) (Solar Home Lighting, Solar pumps, Wind Mills, Wind Turbine)
Flood Protection Bands
The communities themselves implement these schemes following the preparation of technical and social feasibilities as well as cost estimates by the program staff and community provide labour and other inputs in different forms to contribute their due share in development project and also operate and maintain the project after completion.
