Technical Survey
 

Once the community is willing to contribute in the development process, the field engineer visits the site in order to survey the area for getting to know the feasibility of scheme in the area. Various determinants are examined in case of different CPI projects. After the technical survey, the findings are subjected to profound analysis and discussed with immediate Manager regarding the feasibility and workability of the scheme in the village. After finalizing the survey findings, a blue print is prepared for the scheme which includes the extent of support by the CPI through SAFWCO-Donor partnership (80%) and the partner VDO (20%). The community also contributes 3% operation & management per the cost of the scheme while in coastal area SAFWCO-Donor partnership (95%) and the partner VDO (5%). The community also contributes 3% operation & management per the cost of the scheme. It is also planned and decided where the scheme would be installed. The design of the CPI scheme is prepared and approval is sought from senior management for carrying out field implementation.
